Terms and Conditions for Astor The Organic Drycleaners

Pricing and Taxes:

  • All billed rates are exclusive of GST.
  • All garment care services are subject to applicable taxes.
  • Package amounts are inclusive of taxes, and prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Cleaning Responsibility:

  • We adhere to the care instructions labeled on each garment.
  • In the absence of specific instructions, we will use the most suitable cleaning methods.
  • Garments are cleaned at the owner's risk; Astor The Organic Drycleaners is not responsible for any loss or damage.

Liability Limitations:

  • In the event of damage, missing items, or stolen articles during processing, liability is limited to a maximum of 10 times the processing charge for that item. No claim will be processed beyond this limit.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

  • Stain Removal: No refunds will be issued, nor will any bill be cancelled, if a particular stain or mark is not removed during the cleaning process. While we strive to achieve the best possible results, some stains may be resistant to cleaning or removal.
  • Cancellation: Once a package has been processed and issued, it cannot be cancelled or transferred to another name. We do not extend refunds under any circumstances after the cleaning process has begun or once the package is issued.

Decorative Items:

  • Articles with decorative elements (beads, crystals, sequins, buttons, etc.) are cleaned at the owner's risk; Astor The Organic Drycleaners is not responsible for loss or damage.
  • Missing pearls, embellishments, or buttons will not be replaced if lost during processing.

Shrinkage and Damage:

  • No guarantee against shrinkage, bleeding of color, or breakage of decorative items (pearls, curtain rings, etc.).
  • Curtains may shrink during processing; Astor The Organic Drycleaners takes no responsibility for this.
  • Stretching, tearing, or minor shrinkage of delicate Indian fabrics may occur during dry cleaning; no claims will be accepted.

Safekeeping:

  • Articles not collected within 15 days will be returned to the plant, incurring a safekeeping service fee.

Inspection and Reports:

  • While we take utmost care, it's not always possible to inspect each item at the time of booking.
  • All items are thoroughly examined at our facility; reports on their condition will be accepted as final.

Processing Outcomes:

  • Even with delicate cleaning techniques, there may be slight changes in size, texture, or color bleed.
  • Delayed delivery does not entitle customers to compensation or reduction in charges.

Valuables:

  • Check garments for valuables (money, jewelry, etc.) before submission.
  • Astor The Organic Drycleaners is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in garments.

Curtain Cleaning Policy:

  • Shrinkage: Please note that curtains may shrink during the cleaning process. While we take utmost care, Astor The Organic Drycleaners does not accept responsibility for any shrinkage that may occur.
  • Curtain Rings and Hardware: Curtain rings, hooks, or other hardware may be misplaced or damaged during cleaning. Astor The Organic Drycleaners is not responsible for the loss or damage of such items. It is the customer's responsibility to replace or reinstall any missing or damaged hardware at their own expense.

Uncollected Garments:

  • No claim shall be payable for any lost or missing garments not collected from the store within 30 days after the due date. After this period, the garments may be returned to the plant, and any claim for loss or damage will be considered void.

Damage or Cleaning Issues:

  • No claims, damage reports, or issues related to cleaning will be entertained beyond 72 hours of garment delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect garments immediately upon receipt and notify us within this time frame if there are any concerns.
